Where does your art or design fit within the future of ecological aesthetics and sustainability?

I am going into Fashion and the concept of ecological aesthetics and sustainability would fit in it because many of the notions we use have the cability to to be ecologically friendly or dangerous. The choice of fabrics could be ones that are more nature friendly. Ones that could possibly decompose should they ever be thrown away. But if clothes are made to last long they can be made or sprayed doen with eco friendly substances. When it comes to notions the use of plaster could be altered to not be so toxic to the environment. There could also be a lot less fur used in production as it definatly affects the environment directly. Even though it's not the same fo fur works just as well.

the future is now. in color & design we are givin this project called "water in water out" it is to show us the ways that people in our community treat our water. How it is: cleaned, protected, charished, and fought over. We must get in groups and secure the way of water use that we think is right. Many people want to make it eco-friendlly and clean it naturally. Which i think is a great idea. With all of the speakers coming into class i can see how the aspect of art and design can affect how water is taken care of. Even in a wetland park, it had to be designed in a certain way so the water would be filtered as it reached the ocean, with natural plants and a downward slope.
