TOPIC #2 - Where does your art or design fit within the future of ecological aesthetics and sustainability?

The idea of ecological aesthetics and sustainability weaves into fashion in a way which in fashion I can use eco-textiles to create each garment. By using organic materials, garments will not be only eco-friendly, but also comfortable to wear. Using organic textiles from organic soybean, cotton, hemp, bamboo, and recycled materials. Designs in fashion that incorporates the concept of eco-friendliness could not only help with sustainable issues and technologies, it also makes people more aware of the environment they live in. Creating sustainable fashion will help people in the modern day and in the future to fully acknowledge the impact that they have on the environment and the communities they live in. Eco-friendly materials like reusing recycled materials can be made into a garment, as beautiful as one would with non eco-friendly materials. With the concept of sustainable fashion, people would have more opportunities to discuss eco issues and eventually help change the planet. Therefore, green is and will be the new black.
