Topic 8

After more than 10 weeks of this Composition and Critical Thought english class, I have come down to the conclusion; that I have learned so many new things, things that I had expected to learn in college. Since we only meet once a week, we have the choice of either making good use of time and finish assignments early, or procrastinate till the very last minute. I think I should recieve an A, because not only did I turn in and do all my assignments on time, I also worked really hard on everything. I've read the readings, finished my quizzes, and took responsibility for my work. I've also applied what I've learned to essays, regardless of which class it was for. For example I found myself paying more attention to sentence structures, word choices, and different styles of writing.
This class has exposed many new things to me, such as blogging. Due to the rigorous workload that Otis has given us, it not only taught us to be responsible, but also trained us to manage time better, which is important at our stay at Otis and in the future.

I wish that I could say I earned an A but unfortunately, after missing some classes, and therefore assignments, I would be lucky to earn a C. I feel that the quality of my work is good enough to pass but some unforeseen circumstances had hindered me earlier on. Since then, I have had my assignments ready and completed. The argument I would present to my instructor is that I have made the effort to make up my assignments and try to get back on track.
