Topic #7

An ordinary person can easily abuse information, sometimes without even really realizing it. When people are trying to make a point, they can omit some information or emphasize a certain part of it to slightly skew the overall picture in their favor. Some pieces can have a larger impact than others, but a small edit can influence the listener the person is trying to convince in their favor. Embellishments or exaggerations, like in tall tales, can make something more interesting than it really was. This romanticizing of something, if nobody knows the actual truth, can be the only idea that they have as a reference. What all of this is would be a slight manipulation of information/influence/power that almost anyone has done.
