When I sit down to write I usually need some form of inspiration or prompt. I was never a person who could just find my inner writing muse and write five pages. When I do write I find I love to write about philisophical things. For instance, one of the topics I love to write about is"What if" situations. Like "what if I didn't do that?" How would that change where I am now? On the other hand i hate writing responces to anything, ecspecially to long readings and homework questions. I think they are pointless and a waste of time. When it comes to writing I have to be some place comfortable. Sometimes I will sit in my living room or go to a coffee shop. I absolutly can not write in silence. I need some form of background noise. At home I usually turn the TV on just for background noise and turn my back to it.
